On Monday, Aleksandar Vl. Marković delivered a lecture at the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts entitled “EUROMUSE: From Museum to Musical Structure – Formalisation, Temporalisation and Integrated Communication”, focusing on the EUROMUSE project’s methodology and findings.
The lecture introduced the Synomusic® concept and methodology, explored the process of translating museum structure into musical structure, and presented findings from audience research conducted in museums participating in the EUROMUSE project.
It also sparked a broader discussion about the connections between art, music, mathematics and audience research, as well as the role of applied music in shaping museum spaces and visitor experiences.
Thank you to the Mathematical Institute for the invitation and warm welcome, and to everyone who attended and took part in an inspiring discussion.
