EUROMUSE at the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts

How can museum content, space, visitor experience and musical structure be brought into dialogue?

You are warmly invited to a lecture by Aleksandar Vl. Marković, art historian, composer, and expert in audience development and cultural communication:

EUROMUSE: From Museum to Musical Structure – Formalisation, Temporalisation and Integrated Communication

The lecture introduces the EUROMUSE platform and the Synomusic® methodology as an interdisciplinary framework for the development and research of original applied music in museums.

Through the concepts of formalisation and temporalisation, the lecture will explore how museum narratives, the visual and spatial characteristics of exhibitions, visitor movement and experiences unfolding over time can be related to elements of musical structure. It will also present findings from audience research conducted within the EUROMUSE project.
