International Dissemination Timeline
The project’s dissemination developed progressively through international professional and scientific contexts: first through the European Audience Data Alliance Forum in Bergen, then through APHELEIA, Sound in Museums, the EUROMUSE International Scientific Conference in Belgrade and further APHELEIA dissemination in 2026.
6th International Forum of the European Audience Data Alliance, Bergen
First international presentation of EUROMUSE
EUROMUSE was first presented internationally at the 6th International Forum of the European Audience Data Alliance in Bergen, Norway. The presentation introduced the newly approved Creative Europe cooperation project, its audience-development orientation, cross-border consortium and the role of EARTH PR as project coordinator.
This early presentation positioned EUROMUSE within the European audience-data and audience-development community, highlighting its ambition to connect museums, original music, scientific audience research and innovative cultural participation.
International APHELEIA Conference / Seminar 2025
EUROMUSE presentation within an international heritage and cultural-landscape framework
EUROMUSE was subsequently presented within the international APHELEIA context, connecting the project with broader debates on cultural heritage, communities, interpretation, landscape, sustainability and transdisciplinary cultural practice.
The presentation contributed to the international visibility of EUROMUSE by linking Synomusic® methodology and applied music for museums with the APHELEIA framework of cultural integrated landscape management, heritage interpretation and community-centred cultural transformation.
Sound in Museums 2025, Mafra, Portugal
EUROMUSE-related presentations and Book of Abstracts
EUROMUSE was presented within the wider international field of sound, music, listening, interpretation and museum experience. The conference provided an important scientific context for positioning applied music for museums and Synomusic® methodology in relation to current research on sound in cultural institutions.
These presentations strengthened the academic dissemination of EUROMUSE by connecting earlier applied-music research at the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade with the EUROMUSE model of participatory music creation, museum-specific original composition, visitor testing and impact measurement.
EUROMUSE International Scientific Conference, Belgrade
Conference title: Museums, Music, and Audiences: Towards Inclusive and Data-Informed Cultural Practice
The EUROMUSE International Scientific Conference in Belgrade represented the central scientific and professional dissemination event of the project. It brought together researchers, museum professionals, composers, sound specialists, cultural practitioners and audience-development experts around the role of music and sound in contemporary museums.
The conference presented EUROMUSE results, applied music for museums, Synomusic® methodology, audience research, inclusive museum practice and new forms of cultural communication through original composition, museum-specific sound design and data-informed interpretation.
APHELEIA International Seminar / Conference 2026
Further dissemination of EUROMUSE research results and methodology
Following the EUROMUSE conference in Belgrade, the project continued its international dissemination through the APHELEIA network in 2026. This presentation further connected EUROMUSE with interdisciplinary research on heritage, communities, cultural landscapes, imagination, participation and sustainable cultural development.
As part of the EUROMUSE presentation and dissemination framework, the third EUROMUSE online concert and Synomusic® premiere were also presented, highlighting the project’s artistic output, original museum-specific compositions and the connection between research, composition, museum interpretation and public communication.
The 2026 APHELEIA dissemination activity provides an additional international context for presenting EUROMUSE outcomes, including Synomusic® methodology, applied music for museums, audience research results and the project’s contribution to inclusive, interpretative and data-informed cultural practice.
