EUROMUSE Network

A European platform connecting museums, composers, contemporary artists, music organisations and cultural professionals through applied music, synomusic, audience development and cultural innovation.

Development and Implementation of the EUROMUSE Network

The EUROMUSE Network is a new European cultural cooperation platform developed within the EUROMUSE project to connect museums, composers, contemporary artists, cultural professionals, audience development experts, music organisations and museum associations.

The network builds on the core mission of EUROMUSE: to explore how original applied music, synomusic, audience research and participatory cultural practice can enrich the museum experience and create new interpretive, emotional and inclusive dimensions of cultural heritage.

Through the network, EUROMUSE aims to strengthen long-term cooperation between museums and the music sector, support new artistic commissions for museum spaces, increase the visibility of innovative museum practices and create a sustainable European platform for future projects, residencies, research, conferences and public programmes.

Four Pillars of the Network

1

Museum Cooperation

The network connects museums interested in new models of interpretation, audience development, applied music, sound-based mediation and cross-sectoral cultural innovation.

2

Music and Composition

The network creates opportunities for composers, sound artists and contemporary musicians to collaborate with museums, curators, researchers and local communities.

3

Audience Development and Research

The network supports data-informed cultural practice, audience research, visitor experience evaluation and participatory formats such as Community Muse Boards.

4

European Visibility and Dissemination

The network increases the visibility of partner museums, composers and cultural organisations through conferences, publications, newsletters, media cooperation and future EU project applications.

The EUROMUSE Network begins with museums directly connected with the EUROMUSE project and its wider development in Serbia and Europe.
