On December 21, 2024, the EUROMUSE project hosted a dynamic series of activities in Rome, including two specialized training sessions dedicated to the creation and management of Community Muse Boards (CMB). These innovative groups, composed of active museum visitors, are designed to play a crucial role in the creative process, working directly with composers to shape new musical experiences within museum spaces.

Training 1: Building an Adequate and Functional CMB

Led by Dr. Giada Calvano, this session delved into participatory models of artistic creation and effective strategies for audience development in museums. Museum curators and professionals gained practical tools and methodologies for structuring and leading Community Muse Boards, ensuring that these groups are both effective and inclusive.

Training 2: Establishing an Active Community Group

Dr. Luisella Carnelli guided the second session, focusing on community engagement strategies. She emphasized the importance of the community manager’s role in fostering inclusive and active participation, and shared best practices for building vibrant, engaged community groups within the museum context. These trainings provided invaluable insights into new models of museum collaboration, strengthening the bonds between museums, artists, and audiences.
