The Museu de Arte Pré-Histórica e do Sagrado do Vale do Tejo in Mação, Portugal, has launched its Community Muse Board (CMB) with an inspiring first meeting. This session brought together local participants and EUROMUSE composers in residence, Rafaelos Christofi (Cyprus) and Nataša Jevtić (Serbia), in a live online gathering that marked the start of a collaborative creative journey.
During the meeting, CMB members and composers listened to initial musical sketches and engaged in open dialogue, sharing impressions, thoughts, and ideas. This exchange of perspectives is set to shape the next steps of the artistic process, ensuring that the resulting synocompositions are deeply rooted in both local heritage and contemporary creativity.
The Mação CMB exemplifies the EUROMUSE vision of co-creation, where community voices and artistic innovation come together to transform the experience of cultural heritage. By connecting prehistoric echoes with modern sound, the CMB is helping to redefine how we engage with museums and the stories they tell.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Mação Community Muse Board continues to inspire and shape the EUROMUSE project!
