The creative journey at the Museu de Arte Pré-Histórica e do Sagrado do Vale do Tejo in Mação, Portugal, continues to evolve through the dedicated work of the Community Muse Board (CMB). In a recent session, CMB members met with composers Rafaelos Christofi (Cyprus) and Nataša Jevtić (Serbia) to engage in a process of attentive listening, reflection, and collaborative decision-making.
During the meeting, the group listened to new musical sketches and provided thoughtful feedback, helping to determine which musical directions would be developed further. This collaborative approach ensures that the evolving compositions are deeply connected to the museum’s unique atmosphere and the experiences of its visitors.
By actively involving the community in the creative process, the CMB is helping to transform heritage into harmony—turning the stories and ambiance of the museum into immersive synocompositions that resonate with all who visit.
Stay tuned as EUROMUSE and the Mação CMB continue to pioneer new ways of connecting audiences with cultural heritage through music!
