At the Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology in Athens, the newly formed Community Muse Board (CMB) has embarked on its creative journey as part of the EUROMUSE project. The first meeting brought together CMB members and composers in residence, Jorge Ramos (Portugal) and Arianna Ferrara Gennari (Italy), setting the stage for a unique process of shared artistic exploration.
During this inaugural session, participants engaged in active listening to the composers’ initial musical sketches and took part in an open, imaginative conversation. The group reflected on how sound and music could serve as a bridge between the museum’s ancient technological artifacts and contemporary artistic expression.
This collaborative exchange marks the beginning of a journey filled with dialogue, creativity, and co-creation. By integrating audience voices into the creative process, EUROMUSE continues to foster meaningful connections between cultural heritage, innovation, and community.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Athens CMB and EUROMUSE composers continue to shape new synocompositions inspired by the wonders of ancient Greek technology.
